(SBRI) Centre of Excellence
SBRI Centre of Excellence is hosted by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board and funded by Welsh Government.
Our aim is to work with Public Sector Bodies to identify and resolve unmet needs/challenges within health.
We will do this by running competitions inviting Industry to work with us to develop innovative and exciting solutions to improve the health and wellbeing of those living in Wales.

The SBRI Centre of Excellence was central to the successful delivery of our Rapid Ambulance Sanitisation project. Through the leadership and commitment of the SBRI team, Welsh Ambulance Service has furthered knowledge in this innovative area, addressing significant and critical challenges which are important for patient and staff safety during Covid-19 and beyond.
